Get to know Marta!

Meet Marta one of our internal PTs’ here at DUAL!

Q: How & why did you get into fitness?        

A: I literally just signed up to Dual and started training. My brother, who’s a PT, has helped me with my technique and workout routine. The more I trained the more it became my passion. I was amazed how the human body works and can adapt to things so you can push yourself more each time.

Q: Who is your biggest fitness industry inspiration? 

A: I don’t think I can point out one person. I get inspired by various people: bodybuilders, powerlifters, cross-fitters or any other sports person that I can relate to and learn from.

Q: What does rest day consist of for you?

A: Basically everything, normally something active like doing my steps or working just not training. 

Q: Favourite body part to train in the gym?

A: Back + legs.

Q: If you were to do anything else but fitness, what would it be?

A: Probably some sort of job on finances but still working with people.

Q: What do you specialise in?                 

A: Technique improved, hypertrophy and general progress at the gym floor. I think you can go further and longer with proper form and learning the right pattern on the basic compound movements.

Q: Favourite take out?

A: Can’t go wrong with Nando’s ;) 

Q: What would be your top tips for muscle gain?

A: Train hard ( progressive overload), Eat your protein ( at least 1.6 grams per 1 kg of body weight), Sleep well ( 7h-9h),                Never skip your rest days - good recovery is as important as training hard.
